Today’s strip tries to imitate the technique of wet ink from the traditional Chinese paintings. The ‘dry glass’ wish is a typical Chinese toast.

On the right, the characters are not Chinese ideograms but Antians letters. In the first group ‘ANT’ can be read (zigzag in to lines; from right to left and from above to below). In the second group there is a direct transcription of Aliphant’s name.

La tira de hoy trata de imitar la técnica de tinta diluida de la pintura tradicional china.  El deseo de “vaso seco” es un típico brindis chino.

Los caracteres de la derecha no son ideogramas chinos sino letras antianas. En el primer grupo -siempre escrito en zigzag de derecha a izquierda y de arriba a abajo en dos líneas- se lee “ANT” mientras que el de abajo es simplemente “Aliphant”.
